Sulis is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It is a wellness and personal-information tool. Nothing in the app — including readiness scores, trends, bloodwork summaries, or AI-generated insight — is a diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read in Sulis.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the developer of Sulis ("Sulis," "we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Sulis app and this website.
1. Use of the app
You may use Sulis for your own personal, non-commercial health tracking. You agree to use it lawfully, not to attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with it except as permitted by law, and to keep your device and any API credentials you add reasonably secure. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and connect.
2. Not medical advice
Sulis surfaces patterns and writes plain-language summaries from your own data. It is for general informational and wellness purposes only. It does not practice medicine and is not a regulated medical device. Do not use Sulis for emergencies — if you think you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services. Decisions about supplements, training, diet, medication, or any aspect of your health should be made with a qualified professional.
3. AI-generated content
Insight in Sulis is generated by AI (Apple Intelligence on-device, or Anthropic's Claude when you supply your own API key). AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading and should be treated as informational only, not as fact or advice. You are responsible for how you interpret and act on it.
4. Your Claude API costs
If you choose to connect your own Claude (Anthropic) API key, any usage charges from Anthropic are between you and Anthropic, and you are solely responsible for those costs. Sulis does not bill you for AI usage, does not mark up or share in those charges, and has no control over Anthropic's pricing or availability. Apple Intelligence usage has no such charges.
5. The app is free
Sulis is provided free of charge and contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions. We may change the app's features over time, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any part of it at any time.
6. Third-party services
Sulis integrates with services such as Apple Health, Apple Fitness, iCloud, Oura, WHOOP, nutrition apps, and Anthropic's API. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for data they handle.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Sulis is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any insight it produces is accurate or reliable.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sulis and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, which is zero.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing-law jurisdiction to be specified], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
